Baryon is a small Archetype used by Dr. Faker in Taylor Gorrell's Numbershots, created as a way to destroy the Numbers. They are LIGHT and DARK Psychic-Types that resemble small nebulas shaped like their namesakes. Xyz Monsters in this Archetype tend to resemble "Photon" monsters with black armor, only instead of yellow light, they have white ice, yellow liquid, or dark yellow gases.
Play Style[]
The Baryons, based on what has been seen, use a combination of Graveyard manipulation and Rank 12 Xyz Summons. The Baryon monsters tend to play off other Baryons in the Graveyard in order to get themselves to Level 12 if they aren't already, while Level 12 Baryons attempt to get themselves out quickly, yet are weak as compensation. Support cards for Baryons either discard Baryons from the hand or banish Baryons from the Graveyard in order to use effects, at least based on what was used. As they were created to destroy the Numbers, Baryon Xyz Monsters have anti-Xyz effects and are also high in power.
