Lore Equip only to a Soul-Type monster you control. If the equipped monster attacks a face-down Defense Position monster your opponent controls: Destroy the target monster without flipping it face-up or applying damage calculation and inflict damage to your opponent equal to half of the destroyed monster's DEF. If the equipped monster would be destroyed by battle, you can destroy this card instead and flip the equipped monster into face-down Defense Position.
