"I am full of Shadow Duelists."
— Tamas —

Tamas is the protagonist of the Youtube series Yu-Gi-Oh! Real Life The Movie Series.

Story[]

Before Season One[]

The colosseu 1

The duel between young Tamas and Lehel.

Chronologically Tamas can be first seen in the Yugioh RLDS. Where he is dueling at the National Championship 2010 finals against a young duelist called Lehel. Lehel manages to destroy the Blue-Eyes White Dragon of Tamas with a powered up Luster Dragon 2, then in the next turn Tamas receives a direct attack in the face that leaves him with only 100 LP left. However in the following turn, it turns out that this was exactly his plan, so he was able to summon the Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon and so he wins the duel.

Season One[]

Tamas is seen dueling first against Bence, defeating the latter's Red Nova Dragon with Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon.

He then stops to play for an unknown reason, but Bence isn't happy with it, who thinks that he will be never a real champion if he doesn't defeat Tamas. They then begin another duel (under the condition that Bence is forbidden from challenging him ever again if Tamas wins). Tamas is victorious, to Bence's dismay. After the duel, a man named Beze approaches them and tells them he needs help in order to retrieve the three stolen God Cards. They agree to help, and Tamas retrieves Slifer the Sky Dragon by defeating the Shadow Duelist Zoli.

After a while, he defeats Beze, who wanted to test himself in order to be strong enough to defeat the Shadow Duelists. Then they do a Tag Duel between the Shadow Duelist Lazar and a clone of Bence, who was defeated by Lazar himself. Tamas and Beze manage to defeat Lazar and after its defeat, Tamas gets defeated by the clone but passes his Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon to Beze, allowing Beze to win the duel.

He is then seen talking with Beze and wondering where is Bence and why he took his Shooting Star Dragon. They then realize that Bence wanted to challenge the Shadow Duelist who was holding Obelisk the Tormentor, but Bence returns victorious. Tamas is contacted telepathically by Darkness, the master of the Shadow Duelists. He claims that he is the reason Tamas stopped playing the game, and orders him to seek out his strongest minion and current holder of The Winged Dragon of Ra, Alexander.

The three seek Alexander out, but Bence and Beze are singled out first and quickly defeated by him. Despite that Alexander also holds Obelisk due to defeating Bence, Tamas defeats Alexander, but the latter reveals his defeat was planned from the beginning. As he holds all three God Cards, the Master of the Shadow Duelists takes control of his body.

The possessed Tamas attends the new tournament where he defeats a Shadow Duelist by Summoning all three God Cards in one turn and ascending to the Top 8. He finds and warns Bence not to interfere with his mission, and to leave before the Shadow Tournament claims his duel energy as well.

At the Top 8, he duels Zoli again. After clearing Zoli's field and summons his Blue-Eyes White Dragons, Zoli prepares to admit defeat. However, the possessed Tamas claims he needs more dueling energy and vows to defeat him with a God Card instead. He Tributes the dragons to summon Obelisk the Tormentor, who then deals the final blow.

At the Top 4, Tamas confronts Alexander. He counters Alexander's Swarm Strategies with Slifer the Sky Dragon and defeats him with Obelisk the Tormentor. He then reveals that he manipulated the pairings in order to get himself into the finals against Bence. During his duel with Bence, he Summons all three God Cards and the Shadow Master crosses over to the real world, setting Tamas free from his control. The duel becomes a 2 vs 1 duel, of which Tamas and Bence win with "Neo Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon". After the duel, Alexander takes the Shadow Master's duel energy, steals the God Cards and declares himself the new Shadow Duelist leader before disappearing.

A short time later, Tamas confronts Alexander once again, but gets defeated by his own and his soul is sent to the Shadow Realm. His friends Bence and Beze search and retrieve his Blue-Eyes White Dragon cards from Alexander's Shadow Duelists. After gathering sufficient duel energy into the cards, Tamas is summoned back from the Shadow Realm with his deck evolved. He duels Alexander again and defeats him once and for all. He retrieves the God Cards, gives them to Beze, and tells him to seal them away for good. When Bence and Tamas are left alone, the latter says that he wants to stop playing Duel Monsters once and for all. Bence asks to be his last duel opponent before he retires, and Tamas accepts.

Season Two[]

Tamas is called upon by Bence to act as a last-ditch effort to deal with the resurrection of the Neo Shadow Duelists' leader, Wicked. Though he admits he has not dueled at all since the duel with Alexander, he is confident he will win. When Wicked appears, he is surprised to see Tamas there, as he was supposed to have retired from the game following the events of Season One. Tamas says that he will always be ready to duel if his friends are in danger.

Wicked uses the new Pendulum Cards against him, which piques his interest. With the help of Blue-Eyes Shining Dragon, he defeats Wicked, but is left with a disturbing warning about the "Pendulum Knights" who will challenge him and his friends next. Some Pendulum cards appear in Tamas's deck, including the card he witnessed Wicked use: "Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon". He calls Bence, who confirms the new Pendulum cards that have appeared in his deck as well.

Weeks pass, and neither Tamas nor Bence have heard from Beze since Wicked's defeat. He asks Bence to look for him. Shortly after, the first Pendulum Knight, a Crystal Beast duelist challenges him. Despite reaching a tight spot thanks to the appearance of , Tamas manages to win by Xyz Summoning Odd-Eyes Rebellion Dragon.

He shortly meets up with Beze again and gives him in case Beze would be forced to duel him for any reason. Later, he gets possessed by Wicked and acts as the last Pendulum Knight, confronting Bence and Beze and says he won't use Pendulum cards against them. Instead, he uses an upgraded Blue-Eyes deck that also involves the new support and monsters, including Blue-Eyes Alternative White Dragon and Blue-Eyes Twin Burst Dragon. He is narrowly defeated by Beze thanks to the card Tamas gave him earlier, and is freed of Wicked's influence. The three of them receive a new message informing them of the 2016 tournament that is about to start.

Season Three[]

Tamas and his friends are invited to the new tournament, but to their surprise, the new rule is that every participant's decks are shuffled amongst the duelists. Tamas in particular receives Alexander's (intentionally) poor deck consisting of weak monsters such as "Plaguespread Zombie" and "Marshmacaron". He duel Kiber, a Shadow Duelist who has received Obis's Ancient Gear/Cyber Dragon Deck. When he is about to lose, he is possessed by Darkness, the master and antagonist from Season One, and his deck changes to that of Darkness's Egyptian God Card deck with updated cards such as . With Obelisk and Ra, he defeats Kiber but remains under Darkness's possession, and he declares the start of the semi-finals to be a Shadow Tournament.

In the Top 4 duel, Bézé duels Tamás. With the help of his Red-eyes Deck, Bézé inflicts constant burn damage that pushes back Darkness to the Shadow Realm. Tamás regains control of his body and defeats Bézé with the God Cards.

In the Final Duel, Bence is the last opponent. For the first time in the series, Bence manages to defeat Tamás on his own and becomes the new Duel Monsters Champion.

Special Episode (2016)[]

Tamas duels Alexander when he stole Tamas' old Egyptian God Cards deck. He summoned Beelze of the Diabolic Dragons to destroy all three the Egyptian cards before calling Alexander a thief. Tamas destroyed his stolen Blue-Eyes Shining Dragon. He destroyed his stolen Dragon Master Knight with the combination of Blue-Eyes White Dragon and Honest until Alexander survive due to Nutrient Z. Tamas revived Beelze with Monster Reborn. He defeated Alexander with Beelze and Staunch Defender combo. He told the defeated Alexander that's what he gets for stealing other people's decks.

Crossover Movie "Linked Fates"

Sometime after his defeat against Bence in the World Championship, Tamás stops dueling and lives as a retired duelist with a normal life. However, his past soon catches up to him when Bézé hears of Ronin and the latter's goal to eliminate Darkness who still lives inside Tamás. Now that his life is in danger, Tamás is hidden by Bézé's guards in their headquarters. However, Ronin tricks and defeats them before he kidnaps the former Duel Champion. Tamás is surprised that Ronin is actually his old duel opponent in the final from the National Championship 2010, Lehel. While Tamás listens, Lehel tells him how he escaped the Shadow Realm and how his current life is going. Ronin believes that by bringing out Darkness from Tamás's mind in a duel, he can shoot and eliminate the creature. However, at the same time, he would also shoot Tamás down, too.

Tamas LP100

Tamás while duelling against Ronin (Lehel).

While Lehel tells his story, Tamás is brought to his and Bence's old dueling field where he is forced to duel against Lehel. The duel starts. Tamás starts by summoning some of his strongest monsters in the first turn: and . But during the duel, Lehel begins to gain field dominance with his new Link monsters. Tamás gets weaker with every attack and feels how Darkness forces him from the inside to let him out. After an attack from Lehel's , Tamás only has 100 LP left. Sensing the dark aura around Tamás, Lehel prepares to shoot him once Darkness fully emerges from him. But in the last moment, Tamás fully repels Darkness's influence for good. He defeats Lehel with his own Five-Headed Dragon. Lehel is surprised by this change of things and comes to his senses. After the duel, Bézé calls Tamas from his Duel Disk's communicator to check up on him. Bézé wants to send a team to assist him and detain Lehel, but Tamás tells him to back off, judging Lehel to no longer be a threat. When asked why did he spare Lehel, Tamás tells him that the Shadow Realm has taken its toll on him, but now Lehel is a good guy and that he should go back to his loved ones. When Lehel tries to give the fourth Blue-Eyes White Dragon back, reasoning that he isn't worthy of the card anymore, Tamás tells him to keep it to remember who he really is. They say goodbye to each other before Tamás returns to Bézé.

Season Four - Link Wars[]

Bence calls Tamas to meet him at an unknown structure. The latter arrives, confused by why Bence called him. Bence initiates a VR duel on him. Tamas is briefly surprised and disoriented with the new technology used to make this duel possible. Tamas asks again why does Bence wish to duel him. The latter replies that he must prove himself for the upcoming tournament, and that winning is all that matters to him. But Tamas replies that winning is not everything, and that no one will win this duel. He activates his Duel Disk and gets ready to show Bence what he means.

When Tamas summons some familiar monsters, Dragunity Dux and Phalanx , Bence assumes that the former will Synchro Summon as usual. But to Bence's surprise, Tamas also makes use of the new Link mechanic (thanks to knowledge of Link Monsters from his previous duel with Ronin) and summons his own Link Monster: Dragunity Knight - Romulus .

Tamas ends the duel in a DRAW by activating Loop of Destruction and destroys Bence's Galaxy-Eyes Prime Photon Dragon , inflicting enough damage to drop both of their LP to 0 at the same time. Bence asks if this is what Tamas meant in his previous declaration. He confirms it and restates his point: neither of them won, but both of them enjoyed the duel immensely. Tamas wishes him well in the tournament, but before he leaves, Bence asks if he will participate too. Tamas merely smiles but does not reply before walking away.

Seconds after leaving the building, Darkness enters Tamas's mind and taunts him of the Shadow Duelists he had just released onto the world. Tamas immediately runs back into the building to warn Bence and Beze of this new threat.

Before Tamas re-enters the building, a portal opens nearby. He is on guard as a man enters through it, and turns on his Duel Disk, expecting him to be a Shadow Duelist. But the man claims he is not a Shadow Duelist and introduces himself as Gery . Gery came from a different dimension in search of his friend. Tamas wishes him good luck and warns him to be careful of the invading Shadow Duelists invading the world.

Tamas and Bence return outside and form a plan: confront Darkness in his own realm and defeat him there so he cannot revive ever again. Bence insists that he accompany Tamas there, despite his warning that losing in the Shadow Realm means getting trapped there forever. Beze overhears the plan through Tamas's earpiece, and says he will organize a defense while his friends confront Darkness.

On the way to the secret portal leading to the Shadow Realm, Tamas and Bence meet with Lehel , the man who once attempted to end the former's life. Remembering what happened, Bence punches him, but Lehel simply shrugs it off. He is on the run from some Shadow Duelists attempting to reclaim the Borreload Dragon card, a card he received from Alexander that his master wants back. Tamas and Bence help Lehel fight them off, and then continue on their way to the portal. Before they leave, Lehel hands Tamas a certain Blue-Eyes card.

Before they enter through the portal, Tamas and Bence convene to discuss their plan.

After entering the portal, they emerge in the Shadow Realm. Their first challenge is the Gatekeeper. Bence wants to duel first, but Tamas reminds him to stick to their agreed plan. Tamas defeats the Gatekeeper, and even fulfills the challenge by defeating all three of his Sacred Beasts, though he is greatly weakened from the duel.

They continue on to where Darkness resides. The evil leader imprisons Tamas, claiming everything has gone according to his plan: possess the weakened Tamas once again and use him to defeat Schmirko to reclaim the God Cards. But Bence remains as an obstacle. He challenges Darkness to a duel, and accepts the extra stipulation that he must use only one Extra Deck summoning method. Bence chooses Synchro, and the Duel begins.

Despite his best efforts, Bence is greatly injured from the Duel. But Bence claims his goal wasn't to win: it was to stall for time until Tamas recovered to break free on his own. Tamas shatters the chains holding him and rushes to his friend. He continues the duel for Bence, also bound by the same extra battle condition. He chooses Fusion.

Tamas soon reveals the card Lehel entrusted him: Blue-Eyes Alternative Ultimate Dragon. He uses it, Dragon Master Knight, and his own copy of Starving Venom Fusion Dragon to take down Darkness and all of his monsters in a single turn.

After winning the duel, Tamas and Bence quickly flee the collapsing Shadow Realm.

Bence tells Tamas that he already knew that Darkness's influence was why his friend stayed out of the dueling scene for well over a year. But now that Darkness is taken care of, he claims Tamas doesn't have to retire anymore and he can continue to do what he loves: dueling. The latter groans as Bence challenges him once again, but accepts the challenge anyway, and they begin their Duel...

Revenge of the Sacred Beasts[]

Bence called Tamas of Obis' whereabouts. They are not sure where Obis is. When learned Obis was controlled by another Shadow Lord, Armityle (brother of Darkness), he entrusted Bence to defeat Armityle if Beze was unable to defeat the Shadow Lord. After Bence's defeat, Tamas went to Lehel of loaning his deck for the tournament against Bence. Lehel agreed, but on one condition, if he wins against him, he will temporarily give Tamas his deck. Tamas defeated Lehel and borrowed Lehel's deck not before telling him that he will give his deck back once the tournament is over.
